Planet Saturn was named after the Roman God of Agriculture (Saturnus). It also have alternative name - Kronos, (Greek god).

Saturn is the second largest planet in our Solar System, the first largest is Jupiter.Saturn is so huge that you can see it's rings even with a small telescope.

Saturn is the gas giant that has more rings than other planets in Solar System. Also Saturn has over 30 moons, no one know exact numbers. The largest Saturn's moon called "Titan" and it is larger than planets Pluto and Mercury.

Saturn consist primarily of helium and hydrogen. That's why Saturn is very different from Earth. Our Earth has a solid foundation, but Saturn is composed of 96% of gas with only a small solid center.

The diameter of Saturn approximately 120000 kilometers and it's mass 95 times bigger than the mass of Earth.

Normal Saturn day is only 10 hours and 14 minutes and 1 year on Saturn equal to almost 30 years on Earth.

Winds on Saturn can reach 2000 kilometers per hour (500 metters per second) at his equators, this make Saturn the windiest planet in Solar System.

Saturn is similar to Earth when it comes to seasonal changes because it possesses near to the same tilt.
